Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your account for the Orcar app and the orcar.ai website, operated by ORCAR Studio Inc. (the "Company"), and how to request deletion of your personal data. You can read this page without signing in. The Orcar app is available on Google Play and the App Store, and the same steps apply in the app.
1. Delete your account yourself
- Sign in to the Orcar app or orcar.ai.
- From the menu, open Account settings → Personal information.
- Select Delete account, choose a reason, check the confirmation box, and select Delete account again.
- Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
2. Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, or you were registered as a driver by someone else and do not have an account, email contact@orcar.kr. Send it from the email address used for the reservation, or include the phone number used for the reservation, and include your reservation number. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will process your request and let you know the result within 10 days of receiving it.
You can also use this email to ask us to delete information that is kept after account deletion (section 4) when we are not required by law to keep it.
3. Deleted when you delete your account
- The name, email address and phone number on your account
- Your Google, Apple and email sign-in connections. We also ask Google and Apple to revoke Orcar's access.
- Driver information saved to your profile for future reservations (name, date of birth, license country, document images and the details read from them). Copies attached to your reservations are kept as described in section 4.
- After deletion, you can no longer sign in to the account.
4. Kept after account deletion

Information kept for these periods is used only for the stated purpose and destroyed when the period ends. See section 5 of the Privacy Policy.
5. Instagram
Orcar does not sign you in with Instagram and does not hold your Instagram account data. Comments you leave on @orcar.ai posts stay on Instagram. You can delete them yourself on Instagram, or email us to remove them from our posts.
